| 13.8.2 Modifying Ready-To-Use Color Scheme To modify a ready-to-use color scheme using it as a template:
- Make sure you are logged in and go to your "My Settings" page.
- In its "Settings" section, click "Change" opposite the "Appearance" subheading.
- If no ready-to-use color scheme was pre-set earlier, you will get to your "Appearance" page with previews of all ready-to-use color schemes available. Choose a scheme you want to change and click on the "Modify" button beeath it.
- If there is some ready-to-use color scheme currently selected, you will only see its preview. It is possible to either modify the currently selected scheme or to click on the "Pick Another Scheme" button to view the entire set of ready-to-use color schemes available. Of them, you can choose a scheme you want to modify and click right on the "Modify" button beneath it or you can select this scheme first.
- After clicking on the "Modify" button, your "Appearance" page will open to display a "Please define custom colors:" form containing a list of items. Each item listed has two boxes next to it: one is for the color's number (the so-called hexadecimal color number) and the other is for displaying the color itself. Important! The colors displayed belong to the currently selected color scheme.
In the form's top right corner you will find a link to a "Legend". It represents the scheme of "My Abums" page items numbered together with explanation table.
- Click in the color box opposite the item, whose color your want to change. A "Color Picker" window will open. (In the dropdown list of its "Palette" field, you can choose any of the four color-palettes available.)
- In the color palette open, click on the color you have chosen and it will replace the initial one in the color box of the corresponding item. Do it for all the items whose colors you want to change.
- After you have completed composing your custom color scheme, save changes. From the confirmation screen, you can go to your Fotki pages to view their new look and feel.
